You might here from friends oh how great there front loader is, it's the best, it saves water, cloths dry faster(proably less then a year old). They either forgot to read the manual or just left out all the maintenance that is required for any! front loader and if you have teen or 20 something they are not doing it. Secondly one of the most important parts on the machine is so chincy that it is guaranteed to fail, and that is the water inlet valves( didn't even get a year and a half out of it and it's not covered after a year). Check Amazon and Ebay you will see these valve probably listed with the washers too. Wiping the inner rubber gasket after every washing is not a pain for you or removing the water from the front filter every 2 months and cleaning the filter so it doesn't smell, get one. But you can get a top loader that does every thing a front loader does now and runs much quieter too and yes they are very noisy. Pros... It does wash close nice put can't recall any washing that didn't...
