What a sham.This washer has a too low of water level, always goes out of balance. You have to stand there and watch it so when it is out of balance you can catch it or it will shut off. You can not find out about all these little things until you get it home and you only have 30 days to send it back. Five weeks and our first payment and we are already having to have a service call. Would not recommend this washer to anyone.

Everything works well with this washer, except for the fact that it doesn't have a center agitator. I think that's the reason why it ties long portions of clothes together into one big mass that you have to unwind to remove them from the washer. The matching dryer is great, but it has a hard time getting the wrinkles induced by this mass out... Weird that this was considered acceptable...

I would give this machine less than a 1 if I could. I am listing what I feel are major problems. 1. If the load goes into the uneven mode, there are no warning signals to let you know. It went into uE and kept trying to adjust it with water and spinning. This is NOT a savings on water. Plus the wear and tear on clothes when it does this over and over. . .WHERE ARE THE WARNING SIGNALS. WHO REALLY CARES ABOUT THE CUTE LITTLE SIGNAL AT THE END!!!! Washing and cleaning are the prime needs not cute little tunes. 2. I am so glad that I got the clear lid, so I dont have to keep opening the machine during the cycle to see if there is enough water. Usually there isnt't and I have to add additional water. I keep a bucket in the laundry room to add water. SINCE I BOUGHT THIS MACHINE MY SKIN ALLERGIES HAVE REALLY BECOME MORE ACTIVE. I now run my clothes through the extra rinse cycle at least 2 more times to get the soap out. This is not a savings! 3. Water temperature on warm setting ranges from 58 to 64 degrees. I can watch the warm/cold mixture go in and in a minute the hot switches off and cold tap water enters. The wash water will be cold. The clothes are not coming clean. Hot setting is too hot! I measured the water temp in the washerat 135 degerees. So warm is about 60 degrees and hot is 135. This is too great a range intemperature. I have had the plumber out and he measures my hot water from tap at 150 degrees. I have tried running the taps to get the hot water right up to the washer. This brought it up to 64 degrees. 4. Machine only has a 20 minute presoak. For our dirty work clothes we have to use the old wringerwasher. My husband works in a mill and his clothes need more soaking, preferrably overnight. 5. Do not use spin about normal. Your clothes will be knotted and very wrinkly. I HAD TO IRON MY SHIRTS, THE DRYER WOULD NOT TAKE OUT THE WRINKLES. I usually use the low setting and have to usespin out several times. If your old washer still works, dont get rid of it! You will be sorry if you do. After going back to the store, we saw that the new machines all had the same horrible features. Who developes these new products? Do they use input from consumers? I sincerley hope that someone from LG reads these comments. I have talked to several friends with new washers and they are also making similar complaints.
