I love this machine. It's very stylish and it works like a charm. The machine works like no other machine I've ever owed. It's easy to operate. All you have to do is load it and put in the detergent and the machine does the rest. I like that it senses the amount of water to use according to the size of the load of clothes. Clothing comes out very clean and with very little water which makes drying time a piece of cake. It's so easy to wash oversize items like comforters. I would recommend this machine to anyone. It's great!

I have been a lifelong user of Whirlpool washers and dryers and have never been disappointed. Until now. This washer doesn't clean my clothes. There's not enough water used to get them clean, plus it twists the clothes into a ball and they come out really wrinkled. I don't like the lid-lock feature either. Who dreamed that up??? You can't just quickly throw something in without waiting forever for it to unlock. Stupid idea. Another thing is that when I wash sheets, many times it doesn't spin them dry enough to put into the dryer. They will still be dripping and I have to spin them an additional cycle. Give me just an old-fashioned washing machine that gets the clothes clean the first time and you can have this modern energy star rated one. A piece of junk. The matching dryer is disappointing, too. I can't run it on the energy saving setting because it stops and the clothes are still damp. I have to set it on the timed drying in order for the cycle to completely dry. Buyer beware!!

This high efficient washer has automatic temperature setting which means if you want to choose "cold water" cycle, you have to press the button to select "cold" every time you do laundry. You can't change the default setting. I called Whirlpool technique support asking this question and I told them this automatic temperature setting design is not good. The support lady told me I should have read the manual first before I bought this model. I think the support lady needs more customer support training.
