I bought this washer from Lowes because the store gives my veteran husband a 10% discount, the store was offering a 10% discount and our local utility was giving a $50.00 rebate on the purchase of an HE machine.The Lowes delivery people installed and calibrated the machine. They warned me not the worry about the start-up noises that have alarmed some buyers. I had read the reviews and was prepared for some differences over my 18 year old Maytag. The noises are a non-event.The installer also checked my laundry soap and fabric softener for high efficiency, and said I was good to go.HE (high efficiency) products are essential with this machine.I had about 10 loads waiting to test the machine. First, you do not choose a water level or time for the cycle. You select what you are washing: bedding, heavy-duty, normal, delicates, permanent press, quick-wash. Add the soap, fabric softener, bleach according to directions and push "Start". And walk away.My laundry room is next to my living room, and maybe I'm deaf, but I did not hear the machine until the delightful little melody played when it was done. The Samsung is very quiet compared to my old Maytag.I'm also pleased with the water extraction. This washer spins clothes so much dryer that time in the dryer is reduced by half over my old machine.I will buy the matching dryer. I'm that impressed by this Samsung washing machine.

I got this washer at my local lowes and I am very happy with this product. I have two kids, 5 and 1 and this washer is great, the loads are huge and the spin cycle gets them nearly dry.Coming from a 15 year old stalk washer to this was a huge improvement. It washes reusable diapers, king comforters, and my uber delicates with no issues.

Bought this washer from Lowes. Very hard to find. Maybe Samsung will be discontinuing this model. The washer is rated very highly by Consumer Reports. Be warned that this washer is not quiet. I have the washer in my garage so the noise does not bother me. Also this is an energy and water conserving washer. The user does not get to set the water level ( humans tend to believe more water is better). We have washed several loads this past week and the clothes are clean and don't come out of the washer soaked. So so far so good. It sounds like a little robot when it starts but other than the noise we are very happy with this machine.
