We have owned this dryer for 4 months and it has stopped heating FOUR times now.The first time the service person changed out a fuse and he had to disassemble the unit including removing the drum to access the fuse. This seems to be a very poorly designed dryer to require such a major dis-assembly to access a fuse. The service call charged $195 to whirlpool on warranty.Now it has happened again and we are off to the laundromat to dry our clothes for a family of 5. $2000.00 for a washer and dryer and we end up at the laundromat.Whirlpool does not accept phone calls on the weekend as their call center is only Monday-Friday so since 3 of the 4 failures were on the weekend and we could not contact the manufacturer by phone.Poor quality and unavailable customer service is not the hallmarks of a company I want do do business with. This is absolutely the last whirlpool product we will own. I guess whirlpool is synonymous with circling the drain because their products seem to be crap!This dryer has stopped heating FOUR times now. 3 service calls all changing the same part. This dryer is JUNK. There will not be a 4the service call as we are looking for a replacement/refund. It will not dry one load now. It just keeps blowing the same fuse. JUNK JUNK JUNK

If I could give this zero stars I would. I bought this dryer 8 months ago. It's had three service calls since then, all for the same problem (a broken blower, so dryer heats but doesn't dry). It didn't dry all that well when it worked, but to have to keep fixing the same problem is crazy, especially when it takes anywhere from one to two weeks to get a serviceman out each time. I will never buy a Cabrio again.

We bought this dryer and it has broken 5 times in the past year (4 in the past three weeks!) Whirlpool will not replace it even though it is under their warranty still. The repairman has fixed the same part every time and Whirlpool customer service says they wont replace it because its not their policy to replace but to fix. Our repairmen is a good guy and has even called them and consulted Whirlpools technicians and they still cant fix it but refuse to replace it. I am in the military and have a wife and three kids and between deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan hoped for some courtesy from the manufacturer on this. My wife is overloaded enough without the hassle of taking her clothes to the neighbors to dry. ESPECIALLY AFTER THE $ WE PAID FOR THIS THING!! DO NOT BUY WHIRLPOOL.
