Bought this machine for the capacity of doing blankets, pillows, etc., without the center post, thought this would be a good option.Large Loads get very little water, and small loads get even less water.Even heavy quilts, on Heavy Duty, do not get enough water to wash. (Customer Service told me this machine is not for doing "bulky" items???)The only load that gets water is towels even if there is one towel, the machine fills up completely.after chatting with customer service, the lady on the line tried to tell me it was the laundry soap that cleans not the WATER. Whatever,no water means the laundry soap isn't going to work either.Very frustrated, wish they had a buy back program, it's over my 30 days to return, thought I would just get used to a new way to wash, and figure it outbut find it's not worth messing with.

If it breaks down, expect delays. I have been without a washing machine for three weeks and counting. The washing machine started having problems almost immediately. I bought it for the capacity, and the sensor broke down the first month, and the machine kept giving me 'uneven load' messages almost every single time, along with the shaking and 'walking' the machine was doing. It did not matter what type of load I had in there. Even when I had it on cleaning cycle without a load. The sensors are on back order, apparently, and God knows for how long. The local service contact: they don't even answer the phone. LG customer service: sorry about the inconvenience, but you have to wait. Three weeks without laundry for a family of 4 in the summer time? I am about to go nuts. So frustrated!!!

Gorgeous stainless steel look (except for the fingerprint smudges on the metal part of the glass lid...pre-warned by other reviewers)I have already had 1 uneven load warning. Supposedly, you are supposed to wash only similar items per load. This is a stupid concept since the huge laundry capacity is so that I don't have to do multiple loads of laundry. Of course, I'm going to try to wash my towels with my clothing and my socks if there is plenty of space in the washer. We'll see how things go. I don't know if the Samsung model (which looks quite similar to this one) will be any better. I definitely don't want a front loader (having to worry about water leaks/mildew)The laundry machine does take longer than before (over 1hr (normal cycle) to 3 hours Sanitation cycle). But, since I was doing 2-3 loads of laundry before, and now I am just doing 1 load, that seems worth while.Addendum: It's been 3 weeks. I don't mind having low amounts of water for cleaning laundry, but I do mind seeing some of my laundry BONE DRY. So, I will have to agree with some of the previous reviewers from the Amazon and the LG website. I would add at least 1/2 a pitcher of water to your laundry for half loads and at least 1 pitcher of water for full loads in order to trick the sensor if providing more water in the wash. So far, my laundry seems cleaner that my old Whirlpool Calypso laundry washer (which apparently was the worst washer ever made per every appliance technician that ever came to my house, so I don't know if this is a good comparison or not). I am also annoyed by the residual water that remains in the Liquid Bleach container after the wash. I have to wipe out the water after each load and throw the towel into my dryer.I am seriously considering deducting the review down to 2 stars
