I purchased this Gas Dryer from Haier to replace a 20+ year old Sears Kenmore. I am very dissatisfied with it. It rarely dries clothes completely -- I have to run two cycles to get an average load dry. The "dryness sensor" will actually shut off the dryer when clothes are damp, so I am forced to us the manual dry setting. To make matters worse about 6 weeks after having it, the door fell off. It turns out the three screws that are supposed to hold the door on were never installed at the factory. When we called Haier to see if they would send out three replacement screws, they told me that since it had been more than 30 days since I received the dryer, I would have to PAY for the replacement screws. When I pointed out that I had only had the dryer for 6 weeks and had just discovered the problem, they STILL wouldn't agree to replace the screws. I will NEVER buy another Haier product after this experience. Learn from my bad experience -- stay away from this company!
