Purchased this machine as it was the only washer that would fit into the laundry room built in cabinetry. 2 weeks later I am putting this on Craigslist since I am unable to return ("it is operating as designed"). Small items get stuck in the front door and cannot be fixed until the cycle is over - then you have 2 dripping wet socks to deal with.Delivery guy told me to leave the door open after using to "avoid the mold problem". THE MOLD PROBLEM? Seems that the poor design also leave substantial water in the front gasket of the washer and forms MOLD.Seriously, give this machine a pass - even if you have to spend $500 rebuilding the cabinetry in your laundry room.

This washer has been a nightmare for us. The front rubber gasket has failed twice in the first 6 months of ownership. When this gasket fails you get a flood. Additionally the water sensor has failed to register that all the water has been pumped out and the spin cycle ran for an extended period resulting in some of clothing being worn away and destroyed. This is our second whirlpool washer and our last...

Had this washer replaced 2 times and the inner rubber keeps breaking off and it leaks all over the floor.Called Whirlpool.... not much help there either. I spent over $800.00 for a product that broke within 30 days of use.too bad I thought this was a good buy ....
