After much agonizing and comparison shopping, I selected this range in black. (By the way, I paid a lot less than the price listed above.) I like the variations in the sizes of burners, and it's a nice-looking range, for what that's worth. I especially wanted the largest oven capacity I could afford, and this fits the bill. The negatives:In order to select the oven temperature for preheating, one must hit a button for each five degrees about 350F. That seems just silly to me.Like most flat-topped electric ranges, the burners take longer to heat up than do the old-fashioned open-element ranges.The self-cleaning feature works with distilled water, and while it's simple to use and doesn't get as hot as traditional self-cleaning ovens, it doesn't clean as well, either.If I had it to do over again, I think I would have gone back to the old-fashioned open elements and sacrificed the huge oven.
