Bought this dryer from a local big box store after much research. One year and one month to the day, after purchase, a thermostat has already gone bad. My old Kenmore lasted for 7 years and I mainly replaced it only because I wanted a larger dryer. Very unhappy that this dryer has had a problem already when it is only one year old. When it was operational I was quite pleased with it - dried efficiently and I liked the numerous dryer options/settings. However, only one year before it needs its first repair is not a good sign. Now I'm without a dryer while I await a replacement part. (No, you cannot get it in the store, the big box place has to "order" it.)
