We purchased a matching harmony washer and dryer January 2007 at a cost of $1800.00 By 2010 we had to replace the motor in the dryer for $400.00+ and today it cost me $75.00 to find out I had to replace the key pad at GE's price of $577.50 (free shipping- fits in an envelope). Then I have to bear the cost of installing it. I am going to purchase a non-electronic dryer because I am sure the washer is getting ready to crap out as soon as I get the dryer issue settled. Big mistake purchasing GE products. Have had much better luck with Maytag and Fidgidaire in my other homes.
